EL Panel

This listing is for an ice blue 15 cm hugh and 40cm long Electroluminescent  Panel.

(Lit area is 13cm x 38cm)

It can be powered by a mains or 12v EL Driver

Currently in stock we only have it in Blue and White

This Panel is particularly useful if you want to make several custom shaped EL Panel

If you want to keep the Panel whole you can cut off 3 of the connectors and then you have a 15cm x 40cm EL Panel

But you can make up to 4 different custom shapes from this EL Panel as long as each shape ends with one of the connector plugs which can then be connected to an EL Driver (or a splitter to have many pieces off one driver)

This listing is for a white A4 20 cm wide and 30cm long Electro-Luminescent Panel.

This is very useful for making costumes, backlight, modern lighting, advertising or as a flat field light box for callibrating telescope cameras

It comes with or without a Driver/Inverter. Depending on your use there is a choice of Mains, Car, Crocodile Clips or Portable Inverter

A whole range of driver/inverters eg ones that plug in to car lighter or plug into household mains electricity are also available – if one of these is more convenient than the portable driver that can be arranged

Filters can be put on top of the panel to change the colour.

This is the latest breakthrough in helping people create their own glowing designs out of super-thin EL Panel – EL panel is much thinner than a credit card (just 1/3mm thick) and glows beautifully.

This cuttable A5 panel is available in these colours:

White, Red, Aqua and Green

To use this Panel, the first thing you must really think through is your design

If you have a pretty good idea what you want to make then you should decide whether you have to use this cuttable panel, or whether you can use one of our standard EL panels

If you simply have to have your EL shapes cut out then this cuttable panel is the thing for you

The shapes you cut will still need a driver/inverter to power them so you will need to decide on the best driver for you:

In the drop-down menu there is a choice of either a mains powered and/or portable (8xAA batteries) Driver. These are both capable of powering 400squ cm of EL Tape

Maybe the shapes you want to cut are tiny and you could use a smaller driver in which case just choose the 2AA battery driver else you might already have one so you can chose NO DRIVER

A 4-way splitter is also provided

How to Cut Electroluminescent Tape and Panels

These tiny EL Panels are really handy and can have so many different uses. They run off any EL Driver and you can ‘daisy chain’ splitters to have as many as you want lit up.

The item we offer to you is a versatile 3cm wide and 5cm long Electro-Luminescent Panel.

With a driver, these glow very brightly making them ideal for the eye piece in masks.

The panel itself is less than half a millimetre thick but is not see-through.

The Panel needs a Driver/Inverter to power it – It is easiest to run the driver straight off the device you are backlighting. 

There is an option to have this panel with a small waterproof Driver/Inverter and you have a choice of 4.5v, 6v, 9v and 12v drivers that are designed not to take up too much space.

Installing an EL Panel as a backlight is fairly a easy procedure that basically involves accessing the screen of your device, cutting the EL Panel to the desired size, then wiring the driver so it is powered by the device, then finally putting it all back together.

This light box sign takes two AAA batteries and glows very brightly!

It is 9cm wide by 5.5cm high

It has an ON/OFF button switch and a MODE button that lets you choose any of these settings:

Continuous – Fast Blink – Slow Blink… These settings loop.

On the back there is a safety pin if you want to use it as a badge, as well as two hold hooks if you want to hang the lightbox vertically or horizontally.

To customise your lightbox you can print or draw on an acetate to make a glowing image or cut out a silhouette to give a bold and effective effect.
